@Darkmeep I don't actually think they were expecting anything more glorious than that. Ryo's old man just, for some reason, wants to act like a real tough mofo in front of his son, and the son might not quite stand or appreciate it. It was pretty easy to see here that the old man was regretting it a little bit, even though he couldn't drop the act, at least entirely.

@DatOneGuy It does feel somewhat like that. It honestly isn't a big deal for him to go get a book to show the kid. I don't see that as some massive ordeal or troubling to him. I dare so most people would be fine with offering up an hour or 2 for someone else if they needed it
