it kinda looks like he died since he had a wound and kinda collapsed in front of the clones (see the ending of ch44? those twins are clones, if i didn't misread the hiragana/katakana/kanji. lmao i'm still learning so... in any case, the clones he collapsed in front of were smaller versions of those twins). the love of his life mashiro picked him up and started dancing though. there might be a hidden meaning in that but i'm too stupid to understand soo...
