I think people generally like Bad Boys II, though? A lot of critics consider it Bay's best movie. ...Which may not be saying much, as far as critics are concerned, but it's a beloved enough madhouse of a movie that fans kept calling for a third movie until now, when it's finally happening.

And now I actually have to disagree with her, because you absolutely *can* craft a complex sociological critique around that movie. There's a hell of a lot going on in there if you want to take the time to dig past the surface.
