riboku honestly deserves to be the MC more then Shin. He worked his way up in a kingdom actively trying to self-sabotage itself. At least with QIn the power struggle didn't lead to the leaders actively working against the country.

Ousen's honestly probably got the best idea, when he went around actively trying to recruit enemy generals to his side, if he proposed it to Riboku right now there's no real reason for him to refuse. even if Zhao became a vessel to Qin's rule it'd be better then having his brother on the throne.
