@icarushector I’m fine with strong female characters, in fact I like them more than just weak girls the Mc always has to save. But like you said the girls being so op is weird as fuck they basically have superhuman abilities, I wish the Mc would be more like the Mc of highschool of the dead but you are right it’s only chapter 3 so lots of time for character development and for questions to be answered, just hopefully it doesn’t take too long

@Neurotic-Senpai I see I haven’t read “infection” would you recommend it? For me whenever I start reading a manga usually the first character they focus on I take as my protagonist the fact that they introduced him first and the girls second doesn’t that just show that they are the secondary characters there to support him?

@ghostt Well, this is personal taste, but I do recommend reading Infection, it seems like a great manga, yes, it progresses somewhat slow, and we do not see an evolution of the character until chapter 25 - 30. But after that, it is fucking enjoyable. I think that Kingdom Of "Z" could take that path, see an evolution in Sato, stop giving grief to be the decision maker.

I didn't like in Highschool of the Dead how all the women had to be in love with the protagonist and, despite all having some pretty hardcore qualities, be overawed with the protagonist. I'm really hoping they don't go that direction here. I'm hoping for something akin to Moby Dick with Sato serving as our POV, but telling the story of the PM girl. I'm guessing the next 15 chapters will be them securing the school with little real movement in the storyline, except for some character development and Sato honing his throwing skill, followed by adding some antagonist human element.

Most of this chapter juuuusttt reminds me of Dead Rising.

And I absolutely love it.
