He seemed truly evil in the start of the manga, but he was a literal child then. Younger than Sei, and 6 years have passed since then. Getting his ass kicked, and seeing the things his brother accomplish, helped him grow. A shame he had to die when his trajectory was so positive.

Knew it. He may have been an asshole, but he's grown wiser since then. After all, he wouldn't assist Sei at court or in the coalition arc if he hadn't realised how wrong he was at first. I'm normally annoyed when people die in a redemption arc, but this one's all right.
