@Dankmemedandan A more hateful Sei would make his speech about seeing the light of humanity hypocritical. If Sei even partially believes in his words, then he should aim to be the least hateful, cruel, and dark person he can be.

@Swagner I suppose the shift lies on when and where they were executed. You ought not to readily throw the immersion towel away just because it hasn't happened or was not mentioned, but you are correct that this is a severe dramatization in comparison to what the Shi Ji archives depict.
