Predictable is only a problem if it's poorly done. Your excuse of "everything is predictable and unoriginal" is a piss poor copout that only seems true if you're brain dead enough not to question it. There are thousands of high school romances but shit like Horimiya stands out. Countless isekai but Overlord among a select other few reign supreme. There's an inordinate amount of fantasy dragon shows and movies but GoT is an insane cut above the rest.

That's an incredibly stupid question. I enjoy shit exactly because I'm nitpicky. If I enjoyed everything, nothing would be genuinely good or enjoyable. If I enjoyed everything as you seem to imply I should, nothing would stand out, and the's an obvious quote for this. "If everyone's super, no one is." ; If everything is good / enjoyable, nothing is. You also seem to conflate Nit picky = Can't enjoy anything, another stupid idea that hardly needs explaining.

I really don't care about people who hypocritically complain about complaining or try and fail to psychoanalyze me and pass me off as an narcissistic elitist. I could not give less of a fuck how 'intelligent and great' people think I am or am not. Especially not a bunch of faceless names on the internet.
