This is pretty unusual, right? Don't they usually keep the mc ignorant of the girls competing for as long as possible to avoid forcing them to make a choice in these types of situations? Such direct and open confrontation this early on feels weird.

sadly for childhood friend, this time she isn't even near the lvl of the best girl

She doesn't have the right to complain! It's her fault for not getting the worm early

@icarushector
Well, in this case he doesn't even get to choose really. From the very beginning of this series it was pretty blatantly shown that his feelings are not, and will not, be taken into consideration. He's basically stuck with dragon babies he didn't want, and didn't even mess up in bed to get.

"You broke my heart even before I confessed. It's not fair!"
Love it's NOT fair, sweetie. All those moments you didin't confess are the moments someone could snatch him. If you didn't want that to happen, convey your feelings clerarly and sooner, because if you don't, you have no right to complain if sometone gets him before you do.

I always find this kind of scenario where the childhood friend just go on a rampage because she lost her opportunity funny.
I mean, guy is not even at fault that someone came first and got him into a marriage (pun intended).

chapter was ok
but Aoi is insanely jealous (and to some degree annoying)
childhood friend check What's next? cat girl or their daughters

my image of Aoi is Kunpei's Stalker not Wife

Cool, let's just hope that this will sink the childhood ship before it even has a chance to set sail. I like this.

@Granitefish @Askorti ah, that's true. this is just another situation where he has been forced to the starting line of a romantic relationship whether he wants it or not. Though I feel he has started warming to the dragon, just not romantically. yet.

As much as it saddens me to say, but first come first serve, childhood lady friend that didn't confess your true feelings to him in the school years.

Besides, I don't think that anyone could replace Aoi as of now and his role as a father of two children.

oh look, a trope of ''childhood friend is so weakminded that she will blame her own inablity to confess on another person.'' Havent seen that one in a while now, wow-wee.
