On mangaupdates the series is written as "2 Volumes (Complete) ".
So it is not cancelled.
There probably just was no translator around for a while.
And there probably is no translator for continuous translations till the end right now.
My guess is that the translation group worked on this for a Christmas release.

Yes, but in the state of origin info for cancelled / discontinued manga or novels you get the info (Ongoing) - if they have not updated the status - or (Canceled) - if they did update the status) after the latest chapter / volume info.
E.g.:
a.) Living in this world with Cut & Paste - status "Ongoing" cause not updated: https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=150611
b.) Log Horizon - status "Canceled": https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=78884

But in the info for this manga here it is explicitely stated "2 Volumes (Complete)": https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=149719

can confirm this manga is "complete" as of chapter 11. i marked the series as cancelled because of the abrupt way it ended. there will be a second volume which i think is getting released this month.

btw, mangaupdates is user updated so not everything on that site is 100% accurate.

and FYI, only 4 chapters remain.
