@Comadrin I don't see any comments like that. The only comments I see are like 2 people who don't want this level of seriousness and prefer the main couple stuff instead. And lookin at the Manga's tags, you can't blame them.
 
This is really fun! I dont know why people are dropping this i mean i get that it was originally fluffy. But at least its not the sane thing over and over.

The Husband (capital "H" intended) rocks. He's not just a royal badass with great taste in women, he's smart as a whip as well and takes the long view of things. A really well conceived character, and not two dimensional at all.
 
The cat-boss is a bro. I hope he and the Husband will have a drinking party together.

This manga has to be serialised.

it reminds me of artwork that Comet, and Silverfish, were so very well known for :-D
 
De Wolx: you are right, of course. I brought a comment into the general comments after reading a great many chapter comments trashing the series on what was to me the flimsiest of grounds.
 
Had to write another comment after the second reading of ch. 66 (I read the whole thing through again). Even as a cis-male, I love Husbando (GP's nickname) almost as much as our gorgeous kitsune. Ourobr is totally correct, Cat Boss is a total bro. I put him up there with Suna from Ore Monogatari. I'm also falling in love with Kuro Neko, not just for her royally adorable hotness, but her character is absolutely fantastic. The argument over right and wrong (I certainly jumped into it earlier) has become more and more interesting and less black and white. I am really loving this, and all the naysayers from whichever camp should step back and see where this is going. I made certain assumptions (won't completely repudiate them), but Husbando seems to have the most objective viewpoint so far. He's not only a badass, but he is also a thinker. He also (to quote Dabney Coleman) has balls like church bells, talking calmly to an assassin that can easily kill him.
 
This originally was senko san but with her aunt and more close to the source. But now an action manga with a husband and wife
