Kiyo in Kyoto: From the Maiko House - Vol. 11 Ch. 108 - Being Depended On

Where's the page telling us about strawberry jam and toast?? (KIDDING)

Thank you again, translator-friends.

Since being a Geiko is basically 100% customer service and performing arts, in a huge tourism city like Kyoto, knowing English might come in handy. Even if many establishments had the famous: "No foreigners" sign on the door, you never know what might happen. Actually I'm surprised Sumire can't speak English. I imagined she was a straight A student and class rep material.

Suu-chan's going full shounen this chapter. If she doesn't stop, next thing we know, she'll be fighting her hardest to be "King of the English" or something. Then succeed and be the next Queen of England. But still be a Geisha.
