Out of context, it almost looks like Kenta died in the war and now Suu worries that Kiyo might get the death flag as well. But if without jokes, then I can understand her. It is always hard to realize that over time you broke up with someone close or your life has lost something important and seemingly "eternal".

@suize Given how much the manga cares about the topic of friendship, one would think that her salary is to be around Suu-chan, lol.

I love this manga, but this feels like the 5th time we've had basically this chapter, where Suu remembers something nostalgic and we see a flashback to the trio doing something, where Kenta is sloppy, and Suu is slow, and they turn over and see Kiyo is faster and more efficient than both of them while being quiet and they both admire her.

Or maybe both events will be shown in a single timeskip in the final chapter, lol. Regardless of how the author is gonna make them, I'll bawl my eyes out if Kiyo decides to part ways with Suu-chan...
