Kiyo in Kyoto: From the Maiko House - Vol. 16 Ch. 167 - Kiyo and Granny

Stop, Kiyo an orphan? I started reading this manga after about 50-60 chapters and I didn't notice it.

This is such a great change of atmosphere, I love it ^^ thx for the translation

Beautiful scenes at the altar.
I love how Kiyo's granny is part of one big whole family taking care of her.

@SuperOniichan She's gone to her mother's altar in previous chapters! In the last osechi making, she offered the kinton and the datemaki. Her father works in the city, and is hardly home.

I'm so happy to hear more of Kiyo POV and learn a bit more about her family.....though I don't understand how Kiyo can survive wearing shorts and a jacket in the snow.

Granny putting kiyo's letters at her mother altar... 😭
The chestnut kinton looks delicious and lovely in cold weather!

Oh... sharing the letters with mom... and an apple at the altar just like how Kiyo makes an apple pie every year for mothers day....

And Kentas sister helping with Granny!!!! I'm glad- I was like, legit a little worried about Granny with Kenta gone...

A warm little cry of a chapter.
