Nathaniel found it fun to watch how FL responded to these idiots. And in the last scene where idiot #1 is serenading or wtvr for FL in the middle of the night, FL just roasts him from her window and then realizes that Nathaniel was silently watching from afar and smiling like he was enjoying the whole thing. So she never goes down at all, or meet up with Nathaniel at that scene.
