Knight Run - Vol. 4 Ch. 203 - Knight Fall - Part 7

Thanks for this chapter, very appreciated~!!

Also, another great A-10(B) moment ;)

I don't know where this is going and so much still flys over my head with connections to people and if I should be remembering it or not. Plus I still really fucking miss Pray's crazy ass. I feel like I didn't get enough closure and I keep being fed more pray style stuff and I'm like fucckkkging whyyyyyy. Anywho, thank you for the chapter!

Sigh, I'm also lost as too what is happening in this story. But it's still so freaking good. Thanks for the chapter!

Anyways uh, the only significant lore you need to recall for this chap is that Anne, Pray, Leah, and Dry all fought at the Battle of Velchees (also spelled Belchis) back in the day. It's being hinted at that there was some kind of fracture between them caused by politics, hence Leah's line "If that man's (Dry) heart had remained hidden, we all may have remained friends". The Anne+Leah flashback in this chapter was really just to underscore how close the four were in the past and to contrast with how hostile / muderous they are with each other presently, also suggesting everyone has mixed feelings up the butt.

And then there's some random minor relationships like Leo being psychotically obsessed with protecting Anne and Amy discovering emotions. And rick getting over his sexual, childhood PTSD

@karanga

For those that don't remember ( i had to juggle my memory too) Leah is the older sister of Dry fiancee, that girl that died in the Knights order base planet, she used a huge jousting lance as a weapon, she had a pair of twins as subordinates that used a technique that created wings of dust and a combat buttler. They were all killed by Blue Bettle if i remember correctly.

@Deien I totally feel you, Pray was that good of a character, but if you think about it a little her death was to feel unfulfilling and her action do have an everlasting effect on the current society, all that is happening now are consequences of her actions, the Pray style revolutionized fighting styles too. Sure that all those parties, alliances, and whatnot were all there already, but if Pray didn't do what she did things would be really different.

And making your audience miss a character, even they being crucial for the story, that is dead for some years is an accomplishment writes always are trying to create that one character that embodies the spirit of their story and to make them work.

Amy is fed up with all those dumb humans, even her master that is basically her mother she is accepting only 10% of survival probability... and clingy bum i loled when i read that, but she isnt wrong about him this definition really describes him well, and rick almost seemed as an afterthought with the way she talked about him.

Thanks for the chapter! Damn yeah, i also still couldn’t get over pray’s death.
