He knows well who and what Elma is. Of course it's in his interest to feed her.

Especially considering the programming language they use IS magical syntax... the whole upper echelon might be is very likely of the same magical ilk.

But Kobayashi's fluent in the coding language they use without knowing it's based on magic; could be the same for the rest of management if Shouta's father is high enough to be a founding member of the company.
