Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon: Elma OL Nikki - Vol. 5 Ch. 40 - Let's Eat at a Kaiseki

Wow Lucoa actually being sort of helpful for once instead of being overly sexualized.

@TSHH

Thanks for the new release. However if you don't mind me asking, are you going to do chapter 36? I noticed you skipped over it.

I've been in posh oh-we're-so-modern restaurants with tiny portions like that. Often it's not even all that good because it's more important for the flavour to be interesting and "innovative" than for it to actually, you know, taste good. Nowadays I know how to spot that kind of place and avoid it. At least the kaiseki probably has good traditional flavours and, of course, the nice ambience.

@Tikas92

Ask Gekkan Action.
You can see on the edges of the pages that chapter 35 was featured on issue 2020-09 and chapter 37 on 2020-10 (the next issue).
MAGIC.
Edit: So I dug through the artist's twitter and found out that chapter 36 was a (temporary) web-only release. So you're gonna have to wait until I get my nasty hands on the tankoubon raws.

Lol. Knew from the start that it wasn't gonna work for Elma. At least she kinda enjoy it in the end.

@Xystus

Well that answers my question. No clue why they have to mix chapter order like this but nothing we can do about it.

Thanks for clarifying and good luck in getting those raws~

The sky in question:

I don't get what is the problem with Lucoa being half naked in a private room where only women are present... even if there were men in there I would still not see what the problem would be since it is a private room...

Purps, it's not that kind of restaurant. You're thinking of normal fancy restaurants. Which are not innovative, they just have sane calorie counts and are generally for people in a higher income bracket. Kaiseki places are like Michelin-tier, extra fancy, extra symbolic, extra formal. Chefs in these gigs are at the tops of their careers. Considering how many dishes you get, I assume you still get a ton of food.

Except Japan won't let women cook at them. Douchers.
