Koi ni Naranai Wake ga Nai

A fine classic shoujo. The cliches are handled deftly, the plot complications are played with a light touch, it doesn't milk misunderstandings. And it's got heart.

Except for jerk boys taking advantage of friendliness! I don't care about your puppy eyes, mister!

Man, the rival guy in this is really unlikeable.

@Shiroe Nice opinion there, bud. If only anyone actually cared about it ????

Man shoujo mangas can be horrible but not all i gotta give it to the romance it beats my punch sometimes

dude this is REALLLY amazing read omg wtf pls read this. finally a romance with minimum involvement of the fucking "rivals" and actually "rival closure" .

I love this fmc she's soo proactive in finding out what she wants to know

I just wanted to thank @kronix for recommending this manga to me, this was just what i needed ?, i am so tired of annoying and useless rivals, this was a nice change of pace.

This was a really great read ~
Had the right amount of drama and the couple is very cute hehe
Also perfect conclusion.

I’ll give it a 7.5 because it was a little underwhelming in some way ... perfect manga to read after you have been annoyed by another one lol

This was really good. I really enjoyed it. No unnecessary drama and the annoying drag of the love rivals. Thank u for the hard work!

That was such a great story! I wish there were a lot more without unnecessary drama like this one!

I'll give it a 8/10. Solid Shoujo story overall without a ton of drama! Most of the focus was on the main couple and university/high school life circumstances. Main gripe is that the FL while knowing what she wanted and was a honest person, was too clingy for the ML's attention and acceptance. She became independent almost at the end so not really much time for further character development by that point. ML also wasn't flushed out enough. Would've loved to see more of his thoughts and interactions outside of the relationship. I also felt it could've worked just as easily with the second ML, who was also a great choice and had a bigger family element. While the ending was good, I just didn't feel a compelling enough reason for the FL to get that caught up so quickly. Perhaps it's writing and pacing? It's not a 10/10 for me due to those before mentioned reasons.
