@ToonRex: My guess is that they were originally Super Sentai references, and the translator simply converted them to their Power Rangers equivalents.

For anyone that doesn't know, the Japanese-made Super Sentai is what the various iterations of Power Rangers are based on.

EDIT: Checked the raw, and turns out I'm wrong... but given that the original lines were generic responses (e.g. "Oh, that's..."), I think I can give a pass for the liberties taken with their translation considering how appropriate the references were.
