I can't see it coming.
Generic routes in shoujo manga specifically, will pursue what sticks to the concept from the start.
Aihara likes Izumi, they both have mixed feelings for each other. It's only a matter of time when, if the author intends, makes him end up happy with any development.
But it would be difficult to decide, if Aihara still held back as he is now. Ikezawa is in an unfavorable position if Aihara still had feelings for Izumi.

I'm being strung along. It's been a while since I read this sort of typical shoujo (I stick to isekai/otome now) that I forgot how it used to make me feel. I just hope Izumi and Naohiko aren't going to be torn apart, even just a little. They have to be the one constant in all this
