@Istvan90623 Maybe a dick move as a friend if he did know, but Eiji also didnt make the move on Izumi. He was shy and a good friend but thats not enough to move things forward here. Plus clearly she is attracted to Besho so it's mutual.

Besho confessing being dick-ish to Eiji doesn't make the Izumi/Eiji couple any more possible or healthy now that shes already in a loving relationship with Besho. So yeah, Eiji is in the wrong for kissing her at this point.

@redbeanbunny He knew, he spilled that in the very first chapter, then he has the audacity of talking about friendship and such. Both Izumi and Besho are hypocrites as fuck. Besho did deserve Eiji kissing her, and after that, he should've snapped at him then beat him up to be square and fair, not protecting Besho beforehand when the other girl came into the picture.

@Istvan90623 I'm sure he didn't know, in the prologue chapter when Nao starting to like Izumi, Nao thought Izumi likes Eiji and Nao didn't know that Eiji likes Izumi because he thought Eiji likes kitakami (the senior girl) and Nao watch Eiji that Eiji never confess to kitakami, Eiji just watch her and not doing anything with his feelings for her, Nao didn't want to end up like Eiji and confess to Izumi, Nao even said "No matter the answer i'll be fine" because he rather confess than to keep his feelings forever

Honestly they are my favourite couple. They did nothing wrong. Nao confessed because he likes her (Why should he hold back because his friend also likes her. He didnt confess out of spite. He genuinely likes her and confessed ). Apparently she liked him too (and thats why she picked him) . They are happy together
Too bad that Eiji was slow. (But theres no way to be sure if she would have picked him either. She was already in love with Nao)

fujimura first said this, why would she need eiji's permission to pursue nao. same goes for nao. nao didn't need eiji's permission to pursue izumi. eiji's honestly being the most meddlesome. he didn't need to propose fake dating to keep Fuji away. if nao and izumi's relationship was truly durable, Fuji pursuing nao would have no effect. eiji, even if he didn't like izumi, should have trusted nao as a friend to not be swayed by Fuji's interference. plus, eiji kissed izumi. that's the worst he's done. he became what he didn't want to see Fuji potentially do to izumi and nao's relationship, i.e. laying his hands on his friend's girlfriend.

because izumi pov is cleared up, I actually feel relieved. this couple is nice, and they haven't done anything wrong. nao, despite his confidence being shaken up, is clearly patient and willing to understand izumi. izumi is confident in her honesty, and communicates when she is able to (apologising to Fuji, telling nao about the kiss, talking to nao to clear up her feelings)

@Freestyle If anyone dares choose Eiji over Nao I honestly don't know what's wrong with them. Izumi loves Nao, Nao loves Izumi. They openly talked about their feelings on the situation and moved forward like you would in an actually healthy relationship.
Eiji has been brooding over his "lost" love while he was so obsessed with chasing after the seniors no one even thought about him liking Izumi. He is a piece of shit and no one deserves to be with the current him. He needs to do some real changing before he is worthy of respect

Even if Eiji did confessed first, at that time Izumi already realized that she likes Nao so EijixIzumi still won't happen... why did anybody giving too much hate on Nao...

Yeah Nao is still kinda sus with how saint he is, but i don't think we had much story from his perspective to judge him like that? He seems mature on other person's pov, and finally now we could see some of his real feelings

I’m so lost as how some people are saying Nao is the jerk? Eiji would literally only talk about crushing on older women and never said anything about liking Izumi. Nao didn’t “butt in” on anything. Him and Izumi mutually liked each other so they went out. Am I missing something? It’s not like Eiji can call dibs on a girl when he couldn’t even confess to her. Her feelings are her own, and she liked Nao. Some people need to reread from the beginning smh
