Koishikawa-san Is a Carnivore - Vol. 2 Ch. 17 - I am afraid she would hate me

@Tamerlane
Imagine if you gave a Holocaust victim a copy of Wolfenstein.
I dunno, maybe it could be used for catharsis, since the Holocaust victim would be controlling a character tasked with killing Nazis and not other Holocaust victims.
That analogy doesn't really hold water since here, where a zombie is in control of a player character tasked with killing other (fellow?) zombies.

@justforthelulz

Fair, though most of the Holocaust survivors I've met or worked with really wouldn't find catharsis in it, as they tend to be on the side of forgiveness generally, or at least they've let go of control the past has over them, though I can't expand too much more on that or I'd be doxxing myself.

Sometimes I forget that this is by the author of Ponkotsu Ponko because that manga feels so much more laid-back and wholesome.

@Tamerlane The bigger question is if she's sad because all her friends got turned into zambobs or if she's sad about shooting things that remind her of her zombuddies.
Maybe she forced a secret nazi veteran to play Wolfenstein.

It seems like she remembered how scared she was when the outbreak happened in her hometown. She didn't turn right away, so she must have tried to survive for a while before she (presumably) cut her throat. Must have been terrifying, in addition to the sadness of everyone dying.
Also, her best friend yelling "I hate zombies" right next to her probably didn't help her feel any better, even though she probably agrees with the sentiment.

sudden PTSD moment, damn. i knew a Yatera Keita manga wouldn't shy away from a serious moment like that. i adore the manga more now (not to mention the yuri stuff lmao)

@Sonaldo

Ask and you shall receive. It's nothing big, but it's fresh from the author's Twitter!
