Random thought, and speaking in extreme generalities here: I'm liking this new generation of shoujo manga in the 2010's more than its predecessors. The fluff is fluffier, the lines are softer, the characters are prettier, and even the uneven march of social progress seems to subtly (and veeeery slowly) improve on old standard tropes. For example, this same male lead being written in the 1990's or even early to mid 2000's would have already threatened and blackmailed her, abused her verbally, etc. Yet here, Mr. Two-Faced -- one of the standard archetypes in the genre, and very commonly a trap for "abusive asshole" -- not only did NOT threaten the MC, he even sincerely praised her creativity. Amazing.

I don't even know what to think about this.
Based on what we know, I think she was actually only in a moral grey zone at worst
until he started egging her on. So I'm not sure if I'm actually inclined to call her a stalker, but she's definitely, um, something.
Well, if it works for them, I guess it's fine . . . ? =_= I'd be a bit worried about the future health and stability prospects of their relationship if it goes on like this, though...

FYI this manga is licensed by Kodansha and is available in English digitally (currently) till volume 6!
Although it’s almost always a cliffhanger at the end of a volume, and yet it’s really alluring, kinda different shoujo with twists, always embarrassing, but full of enjoyment

one of my favourite shoujo of all time. the premise is fresh. and finally, we have a shoujo manga where both the Male Lead and Female Lead are equally adorable, always equally excited for their firsts; first bf/gf, first kiss, first date, and the not-yet-happening first time. and they both often get embarassed and blush together. it's the cutest.
Ellie is an adorable pervert lmao. she's hilarious, a whole comedian, methinks. Ohmi has his own charm. they're both head over heels for each other. so much fluff
the conflicts are always solved pretty quickly without being rushed. i love it so much. truly a feel-good shoujo manga.
