Komi-san wa Komyushou Desu. - Vol. 21 Ch. 275 - Shut In

Man, I am honestly getting real bored with this manga now. It is getting to the level of "Amano Megumi is Full of Gaps!" of slowness now. Like, I could read just 5 chapters in, and then this chapter, and no much has changed. Like cmon, at least show some improvement on Komi-san, but more than a year has passed on the manga, and she has seen little to no improvement. She has just become a very bland and boring character.

With that said, this new girl is cute, hopefully we see more of her :)

I love her, and despite the manga being super slow right now, I actually really enjoy it.

I haven't read this shit in months and literally nothing has happened. I'll never understand why leddit sucks this manga off.

@danielboredom probably because making an anime with a super shy FMC who doesn't talk 95% of the time is seen as too much of a hurdle.
"Kaguya-sama's Love is War" is already full of inner and narrator's monologues. Komi -san anime will have a few times more than that, plus the narrator will not be an interactive character, unlike the narrator in Kaguya series.

Fun fact, We stopped right at the moment when interesting thing start to happen between Komi, Manabagi and Tadano.😪

So, she is 189 cm and is in middle school? That would make her about 14 years or so. According to a wikipedia article on height by nation the average height of a Japanese female is about 156-158, so that would make Hiki over 30 cm higher than average and since she is still in puberty she is likely to continue to grow. I can understand her concern for her height, but when you are that tall at such a young age there are usually some medical condition causing it.

I'm sure most of you are aware of this but I'm just gonna post it anyway

hikikomori
n. The phenomenon whereby an individual becomes a recluse from society, typically confining him- or herself to the house or a single room for a very long period.
n. A reclusive person of this kind.

So her name also follows the same convention as basically every other character

The name Komorebi is eternally embedded in my mind thanks to SOMA. Hard to untangle this girl from the bottom of the ocean.

This chapter honestly hit hard. I really do get that feeling of overwhelming anxiety to the point it feels unberable.

Komi relating and cheering her up was really great, not a lot of people get that kind of help/encouragement.
