Konjiki no Word Master - Yuusha Yonin ni Makikomareta Unique Cheat - Vol. 7 Ch. 32 - The Crop of the Great Tree

She would have been killed if she tried to pick that up. Seriously, why were there no gaurds? Why was the room not locked down? They let strangers enter the palace, I mean tree, and wander around unsupervised. They don't guard the princess (while said stranger wanders palace), they dont lock people out from the all important egg (and let stranger-kun and stranger-loli-kun wander around the palace).

Seriously, why didn't anyone stop them? At least one of them was visible, and I can hardly believe a maid has that much authority.

@firefish5000 Don't judge them by human standards. Most of them are simple-minded and straightforward. As long as a human or a demon doesn't enter the palace, they likely believe they have nothing to worry about. You also forget they weren't about to let them in in the first place, and only did when the head maid intervened. The head maid had that much authority, what's there not to believe? If she has, she has. They aren't even humans. If she's strong, she likely has a nice amount of authority for that reason alone.

For all we know, the bird might have eaten Muir if she had really tried to take the egg.

"I'll give you booze."
"What?! I'm underaged! No way, that'd be ILLEGAL!"

I got news for you, bub. Even if you were still in Japan, underaged drinking would be the least of your concerns.
Although, sadly, a lot of this is censorship at work. If you have anything that is encouraging the "moral degradation" of the youth or contributing to the delinquency of a minor, your editor is going to make you remove it. Especially in things like Jump and other shounen focused magazines.

Oh, but if you want to make your protagonist an edgier-than-bismuth psychopath that enjoys murdering people to sate his ego, that's fine. Just don't you DARE make him drink a sip of alcohol under he's 20 (legal drinking age in Japan) or have him with a passenger on his bicycle. That's too god damn far, you hear.

Oh NOW he is a minor, he declares loudly.
Yet she gave him booze earlier and he liked it.
Did he somehow not realise that cider is alcoholic?

pedo old guy is actually creepy not funny, and him actually acting like a pedo is not comedy, i wanted to say that for a while so here i go

@The5thSeraph That was pretty funny, but it actually fits Hiiro's personality. He was interested in the cider because it has fizz, which he missed from the many carbonated beverages on Earth. However, he wasn't interested in the rabbit master's probably cheap booze. Giving a reason like that might be the most effective one, as it's directed at his own limitations (being a minor), not at the rabbit woman (like saying he won't touch her booze).
