Interesting setting but slightly spoiled because the author doesn't have the guts to take a darker take on this by making her more serious about fulfilling her love nor make a heart wrencher of a girl made to fit someone's ideal unable to do so akin to Video Girl Ai.
It's somewhere inbetween, but more than anything the romance is kind of... Bad. Makes sense this didn't get several more volumes despite the really interesting concept.

This manga was hard for me to like at the beginning, but gotdamnit I fucking loved it by the end.

I had a great time with the jokes and the fact that midway in the story the author said fuck it to the shonen tropes and did what he wanted made the story jump from a 4 to an 8 immediately.

And oh, the ending... Fuuuuuuuuck. It broke my heart and almost made me tear up, my throat actually hurts for holding the tears, but I can't hate it. The ending alone made the story jump to a 9.

You MUST have balls to make an ending as definitive as that in a harem manga.

As I said, the start is rough but it pays off if you stick to it!
