I get the feeling there is more to Momo's story. I'm actually caught up, but I feel like there's more than just "too busy" parents and his superior music sense. I might be wrong though. We don't even see his parents at all in the next 30+ chapters. We do go in on the other's story. He is so adorably earnest you just want to squish his face and coo about how cute he is.
