@Parasyte25 I haven't dropped it. But I've lost my translator and am just too busy this month to have any time for Kono S.
Stay tuned. I promise I will finish this.
@Primecutter1
Finally got caught up! Thanks for continuing to do these, I know it's hard work. I'm sorry to hear that jerks on Mangadex have been criticizing you.
Some of the darker characters like Ootori, Rin's dad, and Chizuru's dad, remind me of the main antagonist of the Golden Boy manga. That manga is one of the few ones that I really liked near the start but dropped because it got too dark. This is nowhere near that level yet, so anyone having a problem with this manga should definitely stay away from Golden Boy! You've been warned!
But I like this manga for showing how dark and twisted sex can be when it's devoid of love and abused as a tool and such. It's a mature exploration of themes.
It'll be interesting to see how this series finally ends. I've heard that it isn't a happy ending, but IDC. This exploration of the character's backstories is interesting and I'm looking forward to reading how it all ties in to the current generation and the deaths of the parents and stuff.
@Jamming10001 It's a pleasure to have you along for the ride.
I'm working on 125 this weekend. If I make good progress there's a chance I'll release very soon. Given the time break for many, I'm also going to create a refresher. I'm glad you're taking an interest in the darker character themes being explored. That's precisely why I wanted to finish the translation as it was bugging me not knowing what caused it all.
And thanks for the Golden Boy recommendation. Classic
@Primecutter1
That was more of an ANTI-recommendation for Golden Boy. I thought that manga just went dark and gross just for the sake of it. IIRC it introduces hardcore BDSM and scat fetish and stuff. Been a few years since I dropped it, I could be wrong, I just remember ending up hating it after finding the first couple of arcs entertaining.
