Kono Sekai ga Game dato Ore dake ga Shitte Iru - Vol. 1 Ch. 2

I was enjoying it until stecanslash ;/
Still seems like a decent timewaster manga tho

@vasil94 fictional gamers are always shitty at naming things, like the Gunthers in Ready Player One, or how kiting an enemy becomes pulling a train in novels and manga.

Hopefully the cousin won't be ported there 'cuz I hate hotheaded brats.

Holy fucking shit dude! no one is gonna wait until you have your 1 hour long internal monologue and analysis in the middle of a fight! YES THIS IS A VIDEO GAME WORLD BUT YOU'RE ABOUT TO GET KILLED! , I had to drop it half way through this chapter, he has been talking to himself since ch1 during this fight without moving a single step!... Edit: I decided to finish it... He did a single attack slash and now is back to internal talking.... nah fam, not for me

@Serenata It should be noted that internal monologue, just like most transformation scenes often don't actually take much time... it probably took seconds in real time.

"I trained really fucking hard" seriously why? What's bothering me the most with this is the author just monologues on and on to tell us things without reason.

Why did he have a bunch of magic artifacts? because the author said so

Why was he playing the worst game ever to the point he was an expert at it? Because the author said so

Why would he seriously train for such a crappy skill cancel system? Because the idiot author said so!

The idea of a crappy game becoming real isn't bad exactly but you NEED TO GIVE A REASON things are happening. It's not interesting if everything is happening for no reason.

@Metazoxan Bro, this isn't game of thrones. You are taking things too serious.

I thought it in the previous chapter but you realy don't know how to enjoy things do you? Those guys from 2 years ago as well, they are so inpaciente with monologues.
HavFun!!

@macarroiz Or you can stop making excuses for bad writing. You do know that commenting on the story and sharing options on it IS THE ENTIRE POINT OF A COMMENT SECTION!!!

No one needs you coming in telling them they're not allowed to share their opinion just because you don't like it. No one forced you to read it. Or any of the other comments for that matter.

Also It's not taking things seriously to make a basic critic of the damn story. I'm just commenting on how the basic premise of the story is flawed. I can still enjoy things while pointing out the flaws in it. Rather it means I"m able to enjoy things despite their flaws instead of trying to pretend the flaws don't exist.

Dropped. I can't stand the cousin. She had a tantrum? Okay. She wants to throw things out from the room that she's cleaning? Okay. She doesn't know what something in an antique room is, so she wants to break it and then throw it away? Is she just dumb as shit? It's an antique room in the first place. First thought is break shit?

Then the MC just got more pathetic here. He's in college and neglected years of his life in favor of this game, and this now just becomes wish-fulfillment because he's the only one who could possibly do it all. Ugh. Just sad.

@comeonnow0
eh, yes, mc is pathetic, kind of the whole point of the first chapter, this is him being drawn into a world where he can live his life better, better circumstances or not isn't the important bit, it's the call to change, especially when this game sounds like it's pretty damn broken and he has no idea how reality will effect it,
and that's what all isekai has always been right, this is just a bit less subtle than some but at least a bit more justified with the game aspect being a fun focus and ridiculously dangerous and his character probably conversely made to be sad in the first place to justify his knowledge of the world and give him a reason to grow,
and it's also just a damn funny and game to get obsessed with. it's a fukin online single player game! and i have a feeling it's going to be far from the paradise that most other isekai are,

his knowledge about this seems to also be clearly quite complex and genuinely difficult to acquire, which, while ordinarily useless, it's then at least somewhat justified that he'll not do horrible here,

but it also strikes me as odd that you say that and also dislike the cousin, who has way more reason to be annoyed with her childhood fried and family when he's being like this and forgetting some important promise because of that, which is the actual shitty thing that the mc did and why him regretting it at the last moment does save his character a bit, he's just disillusioned

the cousin is great, just cause she still cares about him, and she's obviously only frustrated because of that, as he himself doesn't care back anymore as he's become selfish and depressed, i can assure you that she has a nice backstory where the princess thing is actually related to the mc , even though i've never read this before
