It sucks how this ends. It started very interesting. But the moment it tried going for a bigger picture plot, it lost the beauty it had at the beginning.

If they kept it as something they had to hide from everyone while keeping the setting at school, it would have been more interesting.

Hey what do they mean by last chapter. They didn't find the cure to infection yet and you are telling me that it ends in next issue. All this time they were apart and now they meet and jump from a building. I will be very frustrated if two things don't happen in next issue. 1)they must survive or else what mc did till now would be meaningless. 2)find a f**king cure already. Why does the next issue have to be in March? Why not February! Damn it!

Agreed. The premise was intriguing and the characters likable enough, but the moment the author tried to expand the story it derailed completely.

Like, who are C.I.D. really? Who they answer to?
Why the doomsday cult? And why the members all had the same face?
How come this wannabe Kaworu has mercs at his beck and call? On whose payroll is he? Why does he want Hanazono?
Why is this "Country X" involved in the whole mess with the ID disease? For starters, where is Country X approximately?
How does the author plan to solve the love square between Kamishiro, Hanazono, Hayashi and Ryouko?

...and so on.

The worst possible thing (for me at least) would be for the bad guys to get their hands on Hanazono and the manga ending with a "and the adventure continues" that will never go anywhere because, you know, the manga has ended.

The biggest mistake this series made was raising the scale too high. It could have been decent if it didn't try to turn into a massive power-up battle shounen. Thank god for the axe.
