Kouritsu-Chuu Madoushi, Daini no Jinsei de Madou wo Kiwameru - Vol. 2 Ch. 11 - Distrust

Claude took the scoop to the association after milly died somehow, I guess.

So ot seems her brpther is behind all that conspiracy against Milly.... and here is her brother waiting to do "something"

@mahtan My guess: Milly, on her deathbed, bequeaths the Scout Scope to Claude to free her from the shackles of her family. The only way for her to leave the Leonhart clan would be for Claude herself to take credit for the Scope, establishing her as a standalone mage with her own accomplishments

It's as trope-y as it gets for a "dark, tragic past", but maybe the author'll do something different

"Blue Ball!"
One of the favorite techniques of modern Japanese protagonists.

Why is he calling himself untalented when his Green Magic maxes at 99, Spirit Magic maxes at 97 and Blue & Void Magic maxes in the high 80s?

@mahtan That is also my guess.

thank god he isn't a complete idiot punishing people for perceived wrongs they haven't even committed (yet, or at all)

Thanks for the chapter!
Surprised took them that long to notice Claude was a girl. Thought Claude might be a girl considering the curve of the breastplate when seen from the side. In any case, another possibility for Claude getting the scroll is because Cain killed Milly and had planned to sell the scroll for money or notoriety but Claude somehow got the scroll but wasn't able to save Milly and put the scroll out to remove it's value for Cain. Hope not only perpetrator for Milly dying was Cain instead of Claude but that MC able to save Milly from him as well. Good to see Milly can act like a a Guild Master when it counts. Going to be interesting to see when Redia finally meets the others. Poor MC, creating a harem without realizing it. XD On the other hand being a loner obsessed with studying Red Magic he probably has zero experience with both socializing and women.

Even if Claude has the most male name around, it was obvious from her first appearance that she had a female body, which in most circumstances would indicate "girl".
Still, who would name their daughter "Claude"? Is she actually called Claudia and just changed it, or does she genuinely have the completely male form of the name?
