At first, I wasn't so sure about this.
A manga about an adventurer who does everything a magic book says to him.

Then, I remembered that I usually have a wiki open when I play RPGs.

So now, this story is perfectly believable for me.
It's like most CRPGs, he has a final goal (defeating the Maou), gets lost in the world's intrigue while amassing the experience and equipment needed to complete his goal, and he's using the Wiki during his first play-through to get his information...
I kinda want him to save-scum too, now

I mean, I usually try not to use a guide unless it's some odd npc class, in an unmarked location, where you need to actually follow npc directions to reach, 'find the lone bare tree, with the inexplicable "x" shaped shadow, begin walking south from the center of the x at 2 p.m. for thirty feet, and search the rocks immediately at your feet, for the next clue, other rocks have false clues...'

@0181sam It's a rare item, not a rare drop. Maybe it only comes from that particular boss, meaning it's not available on any market.
