In this case, a more apt metaphor would be that the MC is in an Iron Chef competition and while all of the other contestants have regular cookbooks, he has a book that tells him the exact location of a perfectly prepared filet mignon with caviar and gold leaf trim.

Edit 1: Looking at the translation of the light novel the scene is a bit different Nyanco screams "Don't lick me" and its not clear if she gets raped or just molested, she certainly doesnt scream "Dont go inside me!" and is basically ok after being released. Sad to see the manga adaption decide what it needed was explicit sexual violence.

I disagree. The idea that instructions on how to do something skill based are cheating is asinine. I mean look at say chapter 9, knowing what levels the monsters are doesnt actually meaningfully help him beat them. It doesnt, to use this fucking woefully extended metaphor, cook the meal for him.

Ok the tentacle part was completely uncalled for. U don't start as a feels good underdog story zero to hero then suddenly go dark because tentacles. That didn't help the story at all. Also having walkthrough doesn't mean op. Makes everything easy tho but if u don't use it properly its useless like having recipe for a food doesn't necessarily mean it will come out perfect
