Koushaku Reijou no Tashinami - Vol. 3 Ch. 27

Mmmh, can someone explain something to me?

Is the fact that she is the one that introduced all the new products while superbly managing a fiefdom, changing taxation, schooling, building roads and new trade route, renovating entire cities and getting more and more popular and beautiful... are those fact not known by the Royalty? She doesn't seem to try to hide it that much...

They've clearly invited her to humiliate her more... do they not know that the real Prince, the legitimate future King, is working for her too?
And she's still the prime minister's daughter... and the Grand General's grand-daughter... and the "Supreme Party Woman" 's daughter...
Are the shit Prince and the Gold Digger Princess that dumb?

@aFFi
I think the reason they don't know who the manager of the company is and what she's doing in her fief is because they are fools who don't care what she is doing, and haven't bothered to investigate who the manager is.

Howver, considering the previous chapter, it was likely actually the Queen Dowager who invited Iris.

I see three likely reasons to the invitation:
1) The younger prince and her fiance invited her as the company owner, not knowing who she is (Ch 25 Pg 12). Also, there is the possibility that there might be some attempt to get the company owner to join their faction.
2) The grandma queen inviting her knowing full well what it would lead to (Ch 26 Pg 15).
3) Both happened. The reading feels like the grandma doesn't have as much power as the second queen, so there is the possibility that the grandma suggested inviting the company owner to the celebration to the prince (without telling who the owner really is), followed with the prince accepting it and either inviting outright, or going to his mother to do so.

I have no idea which one it is as I don't read the WN/LN, but I would guess #3, as it would allow the queen time to convince the first prince to join the party, and the fact it would be more fun to read/view the shock of the royal couple.

Woo! Can't wait to see the battlefield scene ~
Thanks translation team !

I can hardly wait to see how Iris will handle the idiot couple, Ed and Yuri. I am glad Bern has seen the light and seems to be distancing himself from them, but I kinda want him to be a sort of spy and try to keep the moron prince in check.

I wonder who invited Iris to the party, is it the grandma or Ed & Yuri. If it's the former, it might be some plot to try and get Iris back into society and possibly pair Iris off with her more competent son, Dean. If it's the latter, they might have wanted to meet the company owner not knowing it's Iris.

@Stormdragon
I believe the invitation was adressed to Iris and not the chief of the Azuta company.
Furthermore, since her parents could not elucidate anything from "asking around" we may safely surmise, that it was not the moronic couple.

But, honestly, it's a moot point anyway, since we know that granny's planning to pull Iris back into the den of fools.

@aFFi
The royal family and its government collect taxes and otherwise do not interfere in how their vassals manage their fiefs so it's hardly surprising they aren't closely investigating their vassals' fiefs. They are busy with the matters of the state. More seriously it wouldn't be surprising if most of the King's vassals were unaware of how their fiefs were run and simply enjoyed living in luxury, so they could hardly report anything of value to the King. I mean, we've seen how Iris' father, a talented man, was so busy with his duties as prime minister that he left his butler (and let's not be derogatory, he was doing a satisfactory job in managing the fief) in charge of his fief. The Duke even mentions that since Almeria is far from the capital he has little way of knowing what happens there when he confined his daughter there.

That said, Prince Alfred has clearly taken interest in the changes in that fief, so clearly royalty are in fact aware of Iris' deeds.

This dress is a solid 9.5/10 for me, because i just love the colors used for it.

As for the dress, the bow is needed, else she'd need a corset beneath as well as something to keep the dress up.

The bow narrows the waist, holds up the bottom half of the dress and possibly gives some support to the breasts. The dress is still a bit weird, nothing holding it up, but otherwise it looks very fancy.

god i can't wait until everything is revealed. i mean it's so funny that Iris was in love with Edward and now she's in love with his half-brother. speaking of which, does Dean know about her situation with Edward and all that? wonder how he feels about it if he does know

and sorry but the dress is ugly, reminds me of something that would be worn to 2008 prom

Tbh I'm disappointed because the dress is ugly. Using silk, won't it better to create a flowy dress? Huh. I can't complain though.

I stand by my statement in chapter 1, her dad is Sparda and this is just a massive devil may cry prequel cause jesus these mothafuckas look alike
