The opposing faction led by the stupid cardinal's son under the bitch's influence, uses the reform on the church building to accuse her of being an heretic and try to literally end her. In which they make a big show trial where she almost has a breakdown due to stress before finally getting acquitted.

Well, the herring for this arc is a little redder than it was in the LN.

One of the first times I’m ahead of the manga. Interesting to see the differences and how my mental picture differs.

Its no problem at all, but you might want to re read from the start of the WN, since theres lots of jokes and comedy in it that you will miss.
with that said, dont get attached to the plot,, it takes a hell of a nose dive, its stops being comedic and become cringe.
anyways, its chapter 14 of the WN, you can find it over at novelupdates.
