She's from a post-industrial society, though. She has more insight than even industrial revolutionaries would have. Realistically, though, there's only so much she can achieve and change. If she tries too hard, nothing will happen, because the world would not be ready for it. It's also an unfortunate fact that many bad things are often needed to happen for there to be demand for good things. On the other hand right now, considering the larger political situation, she should concentrate on making her fief the most powerful one as soon as possible. Only that would ensure that if a war begins, she and the fief won't be oppressed. She should start some top secret weapons programs, assuming she knew enough of weapons from our world.
