Sweet justice! Re-read the previous chapter before reading this one and my gosh....The orgasmic feel you get from seeing the corrupted officials get what they deserve...*ahegao*
So am I. Still my question was why it did take so long. I am not blaming them or complaining. I was merely asking if something came up that caused things to be slowed down.
I do translate number of things to my mother's tongue and I do edit as well, I am aware there are multiple nuances in the Japanese language that are hard to translate, I am also aware of the cleaning work often required for the translators, depending on how much they want to edit the onomatopoeia in the images.
I have worked on similar stuff for comics, not professionally mind you, so I know that this takes time and work.
You seemed to have assumed malice from my comment when it was worry that I intended to bring across in it.
So I will be clear I was merely asking, not blaming or complaining
Hmm so he's essentially using the Armelia family's misfortune...or maybe even making them fall into misery to make an opportunity to clean up the church
The first prince isn't responsible for the plot against the Armelia family. It was the second prince faction who, seeing Armelia's growing powers and fearing her alliance with the first prince through marriage, decided to use the power of the church to take them down. It backfired with the plot being revealed and the Pope taking the fall thanks to the help of the first prince, although Iris isn't aware that he was the one helping her.
Certainly, it was opportunistic of the first prince to take action now, but from what this chapter hints, he was clearly going all in on Iris and taking some risks himself. This does not suggest that he had planned this.
@Elmithian
Well, since it's only in writing and there nothing to hint otherwise I suppose it's normal to assume like that... Especially since the tone wasn't too kind
FYI, I read it as complaint too... Maybe because I read something toxic beforehand lol
I take the blame for it sounding negative. It is hard to indicate tone in text, especially as short as that one. I should have used an emote to indicate intention after the text or made the text be longer to properly establish the mood.
