I hope to see the day when same-sex couples can adopt kids and get married everywhere in the world.
I feel like I've seen this kind of story so many times. I'm happy everything turned out okay.
It's not even like you need to have kids to be a family nor do you need to get married but since it's an option for heteroS and not for homoS they are still discriminated against. We're equal but not seen as such because we aren't treated equally. Where I'm from we do have the same options and being gay is not a big deal for most people from my generation.

Beautiful story, isn't it? I cried a river when reading it for the first time many years ago. It's one of my favorites. Anyone who think gay love is shallow and just about physical attraction must read this one.
