I love these two chapters back-to-back, what a great way to show off the difference between the two Kujirais. I love that they both have very distinct personalities.
That "long time no see" from Kudou was heartbreaking.

I've been thinking about this for a while, and I think part of what makes me love this series is how detailed the art is. Kujirai's apartment feels completely lived in, for example. And even starting from chapter 1, there are a LOT of panels dedicated to small movements. Multiple panels to take a drag from a cigarette, close-ups of an eye movement, a twitch, etc. It makes it feel very intimate, like you're very close to the characters. Plus it has a very old-school art style, the manga itself feels nostalgic. And that's the same as love :)
