Kowloon Generic Romance - Vol. 3 Ch. 23

I definitely can sympathise with Kudou. He's hating himself for slowly falling in love with someone who looks like Kujirai but isn't and also, because he thinks he's betraying her. And the fact that Kujirai is there, having the same face as her annoys him, and makes him question if she had any part to the disappearance of Kujirai-A.

This coming after the chapter where he sees the difference in Kujirai's bedroom and personality hits even harder as this feeling of dread has slowly built up and the fact that he's seeing a lie right in front of him is unsettling. It's not Kujirai's fault but man, I can see why he would say something like that.

He obviously doesn't HATE her in a sense.

The way snake man tells mask man to not consume anything from the city gives a Greek Underworld vibe which is compounded by the fact that none of the residents want to leave Kowloon either. If there are more clones running around, maybe the whole city's artificial since nothing in the real Kowloon looked as nice as the Kowloon depicted here, hence it would be Kowloon as viewed through nostalgia goggles.

Clone!Guen just gave no fucks this chapter, and that makes it all the more confusing and intriguing.

Dystopian romance drama. What a unique combination. Also Guan, would you kindly fucking explain everything asshole???

God everyone is being so rude to her. It's not her goddamn fault. She has no freaking idea what's even happening.
Also as fuckable as Guen seems, he's kinda a jerk now.

Aren’t they both clones? Memory is important to a person to define who he/she is. Every time Kudou fines difference in Kujirai from his memory, he keeps feeling rejected/disappointed/heartbroken, while slowly falling for her. That’s my theory lol. So sad chapter for Kujirai.
