Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible - Vol. 2 Ch. 13 - A Red Heart and the Sender

@henrykez Hmm... for some reason, Kubo know exactly there are one in his desk. She must saw whoever did this.
Now, also look at how she look and tell him to eat it all. She must be really love chocolate and envy someone get the chocolate for free

hmm i wonder who gave this chocolate
we must find the culprit-
*newtype sound effect*
-this pressure, is it CHAR?!

God that's fucking adorable.
And well, not that I ever got or will ever get anything for Valentine's, but I can see where he's coming from. Non-existent self-esteem does that to ya.

This boy would make an excellent horror/thriller manga protagonist.
His mind is constantly on alert and wary of traps.

Yeah, he dense from trauma, but on the bright side, our girl can take her time reeling him in. After all, what are the odds that there is another girl/guy out there who can consistently see him and take a romantic interest in him?

It seems many forget this MC has been literally under the radar his whole life, and when he first met the FC she teased him. I can understand his paranoia

He lacks social skills therefore he may have several theories of where the chocolate came from, remember the thought it was for him NEVER crossed his mind:
1) someone put it in his desk by mistake (is what he surmised).
2) he might have thought someone was storing it there to give it to someone else
3) the best he thinks it could be obligatory
4) because he can't conceive it could be his, he's going to leave it alone
5) when she asked him "have you ever received V-day chocolate before" his response was not only no, but he felt she was making fun of him
6) he'd like to eat it... but he doesn't know if it's for him (and it would be rude to eat it if it's for someone else).

She shouldn't tell him. If he can't puzzle out that someone who intentionally gave him chocolate would have to be someone capable of noticing him, and that there's only one likely culprit in the entire school building on any given day, then he needs to work on his critical thinking skills a bit. This will be practice for that.

yeah.. Valentine day is just like any other day for me too. the fact that i never got even once in the 22 years of life really hurts. but meh whatever.

I'm surprised how all yelling like "why didn't she just tell this dumbass?!" - guys, c'mon, why didn't even consider that she is shy? Teasing him, showing affection is one thing, especially knowing his cute reaction, but telling directly is like confession, and they not even close to this stage. He is learning his new sides with her help, sights that he didn't know that he has (like that someone can actually give him valentine chocolate), and she is falling deeper with him, learning his expressions and knowing that it's all for herself and herself only. She doesnt want him to be eager if he will open up to fast and could slip away, they are teenagers, c'mon, and this is their pure first love. Be patient.
Anyway - I love this so much, as always, this is just some pure sugar shit, I want put it directly in my veins to melt my old stone cold lonely heart.

Kubo is the type of guy who needs the mouse cursor to help him find stuff in Dora the Explorer.

People, let's have some hope here. If there's a valentine's day chapter, there's gotta be white day chapter too...right?

...Right?

yeah who, hmmmm, maybe the only other human being that notice your existence in the school? hmmmmmm? dense boy.
