@nobodygattaknow I dont get what you mean. same with others talking about being a self insert character and whatnot. this is supposed to be a cute wholesome rom com. people looking for deep, "realistic" characters are just being dumb. imho both kubos and shiraishis personalities fit the manga quite good and are part of what makes this manga cute and wholesome. if you are thinking about whether or not girls would fall for shirishi irl I think it takes part of the enjoyment of a manga likes this and is definitely not what the author intended it to be:,and excuse me for repeating myself: be cute and wholesome. its like if you buy a porn magazine and complain why there are naked people in there.

@Pontiff_sulyvahn The average height in Japan has been on the rise in recent years. It used to be about 160 cm for men. Now, that's more towards 170, and the women are closer to 160 for their average compared to about 150 in the past. The entire country has gone up about 10 cm over the past half a century and some change.

We'll have to wait and see whether they're gonna keep going or if they're already at the height of their national growth spurt.
