Gyuri is the last true dragon on the planet. The planet is literally dying because potimas tried to use planetary energy to kill the dragons, so the dragons took the planetary energy and just fucked off into space. Gyuri stayed behind because he was in love with Sariel, a peacekeeper angel that was on the planet.
So yeah, gyuri has kinship with all the dragon monsters, they may not be true dragons but he still cares about them.
