Well, to be fair there were no spoken dialogue among Elroe residence, with the exception of Kumo's split thought processes.
At least she was fully capable of problem solving and showed emotional capacity.

@Elsanna2018 et the web nobel, the body paralel will absorbs the mother, and was cut of from main body, that's why just until she got all toghether when she became shiro, she felt what body felt, so i guess that includes mother's will.
