@Heika So what you're saying is that language is fluid and the meaning of words and the usage of punctuation just changes whenever you want it to? Just because Manga dialogue is prose, doesn't mean periods aren't used. Periods end a sentence. They denote a pause. They change how the sentences are read and interpreted, just like commas.
