Kuro no Maou - Vol. 2 Ch. 6

Huh, that kind of came out of no where. Maybe it was just because the manga didn't show it but i feel like a ton of set up was missed for this entire chapter.

the only dragons that didn't perish is those who took beautiful human form and fool humans with their charm. (most of the time, loli)
this dragon wasn't wise enough :)))))))))))
(oh, and one vegetarian dragon.)

@dopeboykx Seriously, who names an attack "Moonlight Moonlight"? It's like having a wolf named "Moon-Moon".

This is the girl that kicked Mao's butt then let him escape, right? Then got her command collar removed? Curious to see if she ever tries to pursue her own desires.

@icarushector yes and probably not. Apparenlty now is the piss off contest.

Humans don't seem to be that great in this world, just like the demons. Conquer and monetize just like our world

@Nakanowatari hurr durr nonhuman races are below human and gotta be conquered hurr durr. Because god of racist commands them to be a crusade, so lets have a crusade on a continent full of demihuman.

@kronix
Oh boy you will have to wait for a bloody long time for that

@Nk9bjP4A
Theyre something like regenerative immortality and unlimited mana supply from god, thats the only reason they can beat the dragon

@Eridian

It's not just you, this came out of nowhere. The series was already marginal as it was, and to throw this in there with no set-up at all... dropped.

Holy shit, she's a total badass, I wish she was the MC, but now I'm really sold on this adaptation, a humanized villain is always a great hook.

So they occupied it huh but they had an entire army there and the other general was tired after killing the other! Perfect chance then again plot

@Trov @GruntZone360

That doesn't count as "quite a bit of setup." The whole boat thing you mention was two pages 4 chapters ago. So I guess instead of saying no setup, I should have more accurately said insufficient setup. And to be fair, how much attention do they expect people to pay to a mediocre monthly isekai, that they need to remember details like this 5 months later?

Though now that I think about it, perhaps the bigger problem is poor pacing and a story that shifts gears way too quickly. This series started with two chapters full of nothing but torture and forced combat, which suddenly shifted into three chapters of slice-of-life fantasy with the MC and a cute fairy girl, and now just as suddenly the story shifts into a huge war between the humans and what seems to be a monster nation led by a dragon.
