@EaterOfBooks - I think in the novel, MC insisted on a slave party member because he could not trust his secret to a free person, and for slaves, there is some sort of magical compulsion that allows her to keep his secret magically safe.

Can't find the sex scene in the WN translations (although it's part MTL, so it was a torture to read), so I'm guessing it was an addition to the LN version then? Too bad nobody is translating the LN anymore, as far as I'm aware. I think Infinite Novel Translations took the project for a while and then got take down request from the Japanese publisher, Overlap. I thought they'd only do take down requests after it was license in English tho, weird.

alright, ignoring most of this thread's subject, ... I can understand, if the cost is high, why normal people (given 5 points per level) of this world don't buy the two double skill point/growth skills, but why THE F**K would the 'heroes' not have bought them? That's just stupid. At least, the MC had Efil do it. She could afford it right away cause reasons, but even if she couldn't day one, he probably would have had her save up for it, cause he doesn't seem to be an idiot.
