Wow, so first he beats the bad guys in order to impersonate them, then he challenges the hero party 1v4, then teaches them while fighting all to make his situation worse. His masochism knows no bounds. I like how the author even had the setsuna girl snap the hero out of his funk so that the MC could teach them.
