I'm an Asian so 90% of my meal is rice. But even I find it obnoxious to treat rice like some sacred food. Sure, I'd do my best to find rice if I am in a country without rice. And if I go too long without rice, when given the chance I would choose rice over anything else. But, seriously though? Does every single isekai need to harp about rice? That and glorious nippon steel.
